Total protein per day= 0.8g-1.2g x lb of total body weight, the range is because everyone is different, get closer to 0.8g if you’re under 20 years old, and closer to 1.2 if over 30 years old. Also the lower your body fat percentage, the closer to 1.2g and vice-versa.
